On the 20-21.11.2019 was the first Kick-off-meeting of the "Power Up. Empowering and Upskilling women with a migrant background to foster their social and labour inclusion” (2019-1-BG01-KA204-062546), co-funded by the  Erasmus+ programme of the European union. The duration of the project is 24 months / 01.10.2019 - 30.09.2021/. The partnership consortium consists of four EU organizations – Gender Alternatives Foundation (BG), Solidaridad sin Fronteras (ES), Mindshift (PT) and Matertera (CZ)

  The partners met to lay the foundations of a transnational strategic partnership to make the Power Up Project a sustainable product. The issues discussed focused on project management, partners’ roles and the intellectual outputs that aim at the integration of innovative methodologies and approaches to empower and enhance the competences of women with a migrant background for their self and professional development. The partners will work to enhance the key social, civic and entrepreneurial competences of migrant women to promote their social and financial independence and their participation in social and civic life. At the same time, the partnership will work to equip professionals and volunteers with practical knowledge and innovative techniques to deliver an empowerment and competency-based intervention.
